Example:
o Continuously study, map and develop existing and new processes and by this identify potential for improvements
o Review and develop system, routines and standards
o Educate and coach managers and colleagues in CI, Lean, six sigma and project management and by this contribute to a lean culture
o Implement, analyze and follow productivity and deviations, for example with OEE and visual tools
o Initiate, drive and support project and project leaders in terminal
o Facilitate Kaizen-events
This role is local acting in an international environment. You will report directly to Terminal Transformation Leader who is part of the local management team but you will not have any direct reports. A few business trip might occur but you base will be at APM Terminal Gothenburg's office in the harbor of Gothenburg.
As Business Process Specialist at APM Terminals Gothenburg you work with methods, tools and education for improvements to create more value for the organisation. We expect that you every day use your knowledge, experience and colleagues to create improvements all over the terminal. You pursue this by studies, analysis, implementation and follow up improvements to develop our processes.
You will be responsible for creation and implementation of standards, routines and processes. You will also develop and lead the ongoing change process that will develop APM Terminals culture and mindset to be more lean.
You will need to have a wide internal network and a close cooperation with department managers and first line managers to drive local lean- and CI-initiatives.
You are an important part of implementing elements within Operational Excellence, which is a global strategic initiative to drive standardization, cooperation and improvements within APM Terminals in Europe.
You enjoy statistic and can verify data, you can easily see connections in KPI 's, actions and results. If you also have the ability to see potential for improvements in small and as well as big processes and at the same time keep a holistic mindset, then this job is for you!
o Lean Six Sigma, Lean certification or matching documented experience
o Actual practical experience of working with lean or six sigma
o Experience of leadership and change management
o Good knowledge in Swedish and English
o Academic diploma in relevant area
o Experience from and good knowledge in project management
o Experience from manufacturing industry is meritorious
Personal qualifications:
o Structured, well organized and self-driven.
o Analytic, focused in solutions and persistent
o Flexible, communicative and skilled in building relations.

APM Terminals Gothenburg is the largest container terminal in the Nordic region, measured by throughput volume. Over half of all containerized freight moving to and from Sweden passes through the Port of Gothenburg.
