We are now looking to expand our city and we are looking for a Business Navigation Manager for the Stockholm Market. We are looking for you who have a thorough financial knowledge and experience, strong analytical and strategic abilities, with both a holistic view and an eye for details.
This role will set the direction and navigate the business growth of the Stockholm Market and steer the business towards sustained long-term profitability, securing financial business performance and compliance with policies and standards.
You have strong leadership capabilities, a background of leading leaders and excellent communication skills to influence others and build effective working relationships. You have an energetic leadership style, partnering with the business to make a positive impact on the current and foster future evolutions. You are confident with handling changes and have the creative ability to find new solutions and optimize and challenge the existing ones.

• Minimum 5 years' experience from working in a professional environment with stakeholder management
• Background from leadership position with proven leadership skills
• Proven record of achieving results, both through your own responsibilities and by leading others
• Preferable a degree within Business Administration & Economics or similar
• Fluency in English, both verbally and written
Main characteristics of the job
• Requires senior-level leadership qualities preferably with the background in Retail industry, rooted on qualities of self-awareness and communication.
• Ability to influence, learning agility, able to face unique challenges that are tied directly to the big scope of the work.
• Has the space to influence decisions and create energy and commitment within the organization by creating strong network and business partner relationship.
• Drive purposeful innovation and transformation, challenging the established to streamline processes and how to work with them, through a business-case thinking.
• Contribute to build a new approach in the Stockholm Market securing a strong financial direction which enable growth and profitability and contribute to the positioning of the IKEA Brand as unique, meaningful and trusted through Business Navigation activities.
• Navigate the growth and secure sustained profitability of IKEA in the Stockholm market, in line with and building on the Group IKEA Direction, Strategies and business demands.
Your responsibilities
• Secure the long-term financial direction which enable growth and profitability in the Stockholm market, by connecting the profit and loss to the objectives of the IKEA Direction, Market Penetration Plan and identified business opportunities in the market.
• Drive and co-ordinate the financial business planning process, ensuring that the financial plan is aligned with the BPL priorities in the city while involving and creating commitment among stakeholders when setting the goals.
• Drive and co-ordinate the financial follow-up and forecasting process in the city, in line with the global business navigation year cycle and in close co-operation with the central function.
• Secure a pro-active, documented and anchored way of working with scenario planning and implementation, providing fast reactions to performance deviations while maximizing the business performance in the short term.
• Together with stakeholders analyze and evaluate benefits, costs and investments, looking at the business from all relevant perspectives, ensuring a good return on investment and qualitative business cases, also promoting the use of business cases when identifying, evaluating and acting on business opportunities with total city approach in mind.
• Navigate towards more effective and cost-conscious ways of working, identifying growth and cost potentials through benchmarking and striving for constant improvements.
• Contribute to set and reach clear goals and expectations and make time to follow these up in the city market together with the Unit organizations.
• Create an environment of trust by encouraging open, constructive, honest, two-way feedback and secure competent and high-performing teams and leaders who inspire and empower every co-worker to recognize and understand their contribution in accordance with the IKEA Human Resource Idea.

We are offering a full-time permanent position with start date upon agreement. Main Workplace is at IKEA Kungens Kurva. This role reports directly to Market Area Manager of Stockholm and is an active partner in the Stockholm City Management Team.
