British Car Import A/S is a company within Nic. Christiansen Group, and is the Importer of Jaguar Land Rover in Scandinavia. Jaguar Land Rover is experiencing a large increase in sales and many exciting new products to be launched in 2015 and beyond. Our office in Sweden is located in Malmö and currently consists of 8 employees, with a strong Scandinavian back office function in Kolding, Denmark.

Job description
We are currently looking for a Business Manager to support the Jaguar Land Rover Scandinavian dealer network. Your main tasks will be to develop and implement activities to improve dealer performance and profitability. You will implement all relevant Business Management systems, tools and business metrics, which will help plan, measure and improve business performance across the dealer network. Furthermore, you will promote Jaguar Land Rover values to all stakeholders, as a Jaguar Land Rover Brand Ambassador. Your office will be in Malmö and you will travel frequently to all our dealers in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. You will report to our Network Development Director.

Responsibilities:
• Lead annual dealer and Importer business planning.
• Define and manage margin standards and programs for the dealer network.
• Implement and manage JLR Dealer Composite and Business Planning tool.
• Measure and report on overall business performance and target achievement across all business functions.
• Analyze financial and operational dealer performance; identify potential risk dealers, business threats and areas for improvement.
• Define and drive corrective actions, together with Sales, Aftersales and Training, to raise dealer performance.
• Develop and implement dealer network risk management processes, including a dealer in-care program for underperforming dealers.
• Define viability thresholds for a JLR franchise and assess/determine dealer investment and appropriate return on invest for existing and new franchises.
• Report on network health and performance to local and JLR management.
• Actively collect, develop and share best business practices across dealer network.

Qualifications
You have a minimum of 5+ years working experience with significant business management knowledge and a proven track-record in retail improvement. Automotive background is preferable since you will need a clear understanding of the departmental inter-relationships that exist in a dealership. You have excellent communication and networking skills with an ability to influence at all levels, internally and externally. Good understanding of business metrics and accounting is a must, as well as an ability to interpret business performance data and relate it to operational activity. You have excellent project management skills and a strong command of English language skills (understanding of Business English). Since your work field is Scandinavia, you also need to be fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages (Swedish, Norwegian or Danish) - and of course have a willingness to travel frequently. We strongly believe that you have an enthusiasm for Jaguar Land Rover products and services.
