hela Sverige Commercial Operations has the global responsibility for the strategies, operations and control of the Scania-owned sales and services companies and business units. Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies.
The team IT Demand within Workshop Operations are responsible for developing our retail business by defining requirements to our application portfolio. We also contribute in global projects with business knowledge related to IT-applications in the retail network. We are also responsible for governing application maintenance activities and cost. Further, set the functional roadmaps for our IT applications, including implementations and development. The team IT Demand within Workshop Operations has a key role in Scania 's digitalization journey.
Work description
As a Business IT Analyst within our team, you are responsible for identifying and analysing business needs and translate them into IT requirements. You are expected to work with both projects and maintenance.
You will also be the business spokesperson when it comes to steering and controlling the IT road- map for your area of responsibility. In the roadmap you will prioritize change requests together with the market needs and place the development in the different application maintenance groups. The key markets for this role will be Asia and UK.
You will also work in close cooperation with the global organization within Service Operations, Business units and Scania IT. Traveling is to be expected.
Your profile
You are a person who has a strong interest in business development as well as IT. You are organized, analytical and have excellent communication skills. Preferably you have experience in the workshop process in combination with IT. Working in the area between business and IT, you need to understand both perspectives. Knowledge in applications used in retail network is a merit for this position.
You have business analysis and leadership skills in order to deal with prioritization in a constructive manner. You have good grasp of agile methodology and software development. You also have good sense of working with different aspects of product development i.e. technical, business and user experience design.
You are customer oriented, an expert in identifying and understanding problems and opportunities. In order to gather business requirements and explaining solutions you need to be good at facilitating, communicating and create user scenarios with user stories.
It is desirable that you have and university degree or relevant professional qualifications. You must be proficient in written and spoken English.
