We are always striving for development and excellence - we are looking for our new Business Development Manager to lead important strategic investigations and projects.Your MissionOn behalf of the GTP Executive Management Team (EMT) and Business Office & IT Leadership Team your mission will be to lead and deliver strategic investigations, pre-studies and specific projects. As The Business Development Manager you may also act as senior representative in relevant foras, networks and steering committees, on behalf of the SVP Business Office & IT.Core Responsibilities:Plan, define and manage projects in terms of scope, stakeholders and resource/competencies need of the assignments based on given directivesPrepare implementation and communication plans and organize connection with key stakeholders to secure change management activities and handover to the line organizationsLiaise with the assignments steering committees and sponsors to present recommendations and to keep them informed of progress and to make relevant decisionsLead and manage a network of people involved in the assignments, encourage and motivate them to make sure the assignment moves in the right direction - conduct workshops when neededWithin the area of expertise, act as trainer for the Line organization, when neededWe can offer youIn this role you will have a senior position and have the opportunity to drive challenging and strategic assignments and tasks, adding value to the core of Volvo Group. Other key criteria's:Strong Leadership skills, experience in leading people and/or project managementDeep purchasing knowledge and extensive experience from the purchasing line organization, experience from both Direct - and Indirect Material is an advantageAbility to build and apply skills and capabilities - Continuously interested in acquiring new knowledge and quick to get up to speed when presented with a new task, leveraging knowledge already gained in other assignmentsYou have a solid competence in analyzing big amount of information and package the essence of it, using Data Management and your analytical skillsUniversity degree in Engineering and/or Business AdministrationWe also believe it is very important with Customer Focus and a Holistic View, as we will need your ability to put what is best for Volvo Group in focus, both in general and in detail when needed.
