Orexo AB, is a pharmaceutical company that develops and commercializes improved pharmaceuticals and digital therapies. The company addresses unmet needs within the growing space of mental illness and substance use disorders. In 2019 Orexo AB started a new business area in digital therapeutics with the mission to redefine treatment of addiction by offering clinically validated digital therapeutics to ensure more successful treatment for patients and cost-effective solutions for payers. In 2020 Orexo acquired the rights to a digital therapy for depression in the US and Orexo has a continued ambition to broaden the portfolio through acquisitions and in-licensing. Orexo's first digital therapies are today commercialized by Orexo US where Orexo also commercializes its lead product ZUBSOLV® for the treatment of opioid use disorder. The first product where Orexo own the global right, modia®, is now launching in the US and next steps will be an expansion to new geographies.
Tasks
In the role as Business Development Manager of Digital Health in South Asia you will be responsible for developing business plans for Orexo's digital therapies in South Asia, identifying and assessing new business opportunities in digital therapies, understanding the market conditions for digital therapies in different markets including regulatory and reimbursement pathways and establishing relationships with future potential partners for Orexo in the region. The work will be done in close collaboration and with the Team Head in Sweden and Orexo's digital therapy team in the US. In this capacity you will help build and solidify the strategy in South Asia as well as support the development of the digital team in Sweden. The position will be located in Stockholm, but occasional work from Orexo's head office in Uppsala should be expected.
Minimum Requirements
• Strong connections to South Asia
• Appropriate Master's Degree
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial and innovative attitude with a genuine interest for digital health and business development
• Ability to work in a cross-functional role in a rapidly evolving industry
• Open to travel
• Experience working with business development with strong analytical and modelling skills for assessing and prioritizing operational and strategic initiatives in digital areas
• Experience (through work or education) of the South Asian healthcare system
• Minimum 2 year of working experience in the life science industry
• Fluent in English and proficient in Hindi and Tamil

• Experience working within the life sciences industry, preferably within digital health and digital therapeutics
