Operating for just over ten years, EngageTech are a customer-focused Lead Generation and Outsourced Sales Consultancy working specifically across the tech space. We work with some of the largest tech businesses in the industry, as well as some exciting, small disruptive tech start-ups, leading and consulting on their sales campaigns, driving revenue pipeline to help them grow.
After our success in London, and most recently Sydney we have gone full steam ahead with our expansion into the Nordics, opening up an office and building out a new team. We already have a number of reputable clients and business developed in the area, now we need to continue growing out our Sales Development Team talent locally to progress this venture!
Reporting to the Country Manager, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating and developing new business opportunities for EngageTech. Working collaboratively with the Sales team, you will explore opportunities within existing Accounts, as well leveraging lead generation and referrals. You will plan and execute on a well-defined strategy to deliver new revenue targets, as well as delivering sales for your client.
Responsibilities
Identify, manage and develop new clients into which the EngageTech Services portfolio can be sold
Target, segment, source and cleanse business data in respect of the marketplace.
Qualify Customer and sales opportunities to maximise orders and ensure that the solutions offered are within the Company's field of competence.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Lead Generation Service marketplace through competitor analysis and internal training
Build and sustain a prospect platform and follow through in an appropriate and timely manner to achieve or exceed the assigned sales targets.
Ensure proactive contact with all prospect projects on a regular and consistent basis. Understand the clients' business requirements and how EngageTech can provide a solution in this context.
Co-ordinate resource and manage the sales cycle, setting customer expectations and respecting other demands on colleagues to ensure EngageTech's reputation and customers aspirations are met.
Keep up-to-date with developments in the Company's Service offering.
Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to customers, up to and including Director/'C' level.
Contribute significantly to the development of Company goals, growth and profitability targets by being an active member of the EngageTech team and culture.
Enable the Company to grow new business through referrals and other marketing initiatives.
Provide all required internal and external documentation on time and within sales guidelines and standards.
Use of Salesforce to EngageTech standards.
Attend and contribute to regular sales meetings.
Create customer proposals when requested, co-ordinating with other departments and following the correct procedure. Verify accuracy with other departments as necessary

Experience & Skills
At least 2 years demonstrable background within Tech Sales, or proven new business sales achievement and conversion.
Demonstrable ability to engage at Director and C-level - credibility.
Assertive, organised, methodical, efficient and able to work on own initiative in and out of office.
Excellent verbal and communications skills
Excellent presentation skills
Commercial and sector awareness
Ability to understand sales and marketing concepts.
Able to work independently, multi-task and exercise good judgement at all times
Must be ambitious, driven and a team player
