What you will be a part of
Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
You will be part of the Business Unit Lifecycle Logistics. We add value in the development of Saab and other OEM products through support solution design, technical information solutions and provision of support equipment. We add value to our customers through in-service supply and support of Mobile Air Base Infrastructure, Fleet Management Solutions and Lifecycle Optimisation Services. We deliver products and services primarily in the Air domain, although we are also active in other military domains.
You will join staff Marketing and Sales, which has responsibility for Business Development, Strategy, Business Management, Product Portfolio Management and Market Communications. You will report to the Head of Marketing and Sales.

Your role
Your challenge will be to develop and deliver new business with both domestic and international customers. You will build relationships, partnerships and sales channels together with Saab’s global Market Areas and deliver new business objectives according to budget and business plan milestones. You will have a key role in developing, marketing and selling the following portfolio products:

Aircraft Maintenance Management Solutions
Codification Solutions
Mobile Air Base Solutions
Technical Information Solutions

In order to secure high quality, profitable business according to Saab standards, you will lead and coordinate Product offers to best meet customer needs. Activities include:

Market appraisals
Business intelligence and analysis
Development and execution of win strategies
Customer negotiations

Your skills and experience
You are an experienced business development and sales professional with extensive domain knowledge of advanced information solutions used by Swedish and international Armed Forces.
Your capabilities include business case development, from concept/specification through to solution delivery, based on customer requirements and budget. It is essential that you have knowledge of public procurement processes and the ability to analyse requirements and define win strategies. It is highly desirable that you have an established network of customers and defence industry partners.
To be successful in this role, you need to have well developed leadership skills and the ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships. Excellent communication skills (in Swedish and English) are a prerequisite, as well as high stress tolerance, self-confidence and self-motivation. You must possess the ability to combine strength in business analysis with gut feeling based on experience to make sound business recommendations. Finally, you will be unafraid when faced with new business challenges.
