hela Sverige Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. At the same time, our responsibility and cooperation within the TRATON group are growing. This will require new ways of thinking and working. We need to develop the capabilities to deliver complete solutions with speed and flexibility in close customer collaboration and do this in a way that inspires and empowers our employees.
Do you want to be a part of driving this business transformation for Purchasing and developing future ways of working? Do you want to be a part of a creative and new thinking team where we love uncertainties and understand that change is the only constant? Do you have a strong passion for Supplier Quality? If so, you may be the one we are looking for.
Who are we and what do we do?
We work with improving and developing new processes, methods, tools and systems for Purchasing. We are working all the way from identifying user needs to developing, implementing and training new solutions. Currently, we have the mission to enable sourcing for Scania Purchasing Globally and also in a TRATON context. Our focus is to secure the onboarding of Navistar and the capability to source and ensure Supplier Quality for other TRATON brands from a Purchasing Process and IT perspective. To make all of this happen we are right now developing our new Purchasing System Landscape as well as our purchasing core processes where this team plays an important role to set the future way of working for Purchasing.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a true team player with a passion to improve how things can be done and with an extra eye for quality. You dare to challenge and think beyond the normal situation in order to foresee future customer needs. You thrive in a changing and sometimes unclear environment where you take your own initiatives to understand which direction to go and you have the skill to easily involve and lead others.
We are looking for you that would love your days at work to include the following:
• Drive the transformation of our Purchasing Core Processes to manage and support collaboration within the TRATON group.
• Support the Supplier Quality organization by functioning as a bridge between business and development within this area.
• Talk to users, understand their needs and continuously share progress on changes with them
• Prepare and facilitate workshops with different stakeholders to gather requirements and work out solutions
• Analyze and collect customer needs, draw conclusions and propose solutions
• Present and convince stakeholders of proposed solutions
• Document results of changes connected to processes and methods in a user-friendly way
• Communicate decided changes on all organizational and cross-functional levels
You have good knowledge about Scania and Purchasing processes and systems, especially the quality processes and systems, and you have probably been involved in many improvement initiatives connected to these. It is beneficial if you have worked as a Supplier Quality Manager with experience in cross-functional and cross-brand collaboration. Other experience from leading projects and teams will also help you in this position. You have a university degree and you are fluent in English since this is our common company language.
Who am I as your future manager?
My name is Alice Edinger and I have been working at Scania Purchasing in different roles since 2014. As a group manager, I care about the success and development of the team. I believe that people's strengths shine when they feel empowered, supported and valued. I try my best to lead by example and make sure that I and the team are aligned with Scania's goals and values.
