hela Sverige This is a role with a regional business control responsibility within Sweden Industrial & Office Division (SED) at Volvo Group Real Estate. You will be part of a team of regional business controllers who report functionally to the divisional controller SED, who is also your line manager. You will be the natural business partner to the operational team in the region and support in the day to day business. You will also have responsibility for analysis of actuals and reporting, budget and estimate, project controlling,
CAPEX/investments, and closing related work etc. Ad hoc analysis when needed. You will work close together with the business so you need to enjoy being part of a team and to work together to reach the goals. We believe the key to success is to have an interest in the business and to be able to explain what is behind the figures and create interest around the financial figures. To do this you need to have great communication skills as well as analytical skills.
Role Mission
The Business Controller role is driving and leading financial processes within a specified area. As a business partner, the Business Controller works closely with the business with analysis, follow-up as well as supporting business decision, consistently striving to maximize the added value in order to improve the business performance. The Business Controller will focus on performance and value creation. The Business Controller is working in the context of the Financial Policies and Procedures (FPP) for Volvo Group including Real Estate framework.
Key Responsibilities
• Challenge and support in terms of efficiency and performance in line with the overall strategy and objectives, consistently striving to maximize the added value in order to improve the business performance In the region
• Driving synergies and constantly prioritize the efforts based on risk and value creation within the region
• Perform proactive controlling and drive the cost awareness in regional Real Estate management teams and other relevant teams in order to achieve short and long term financial targets
• Support decision-making in providing relevant and thorough financial analysis and insights
• Implement financial guidelines and routines within the controlling area
• Secure that Budget/Estimates are done for the region in line with guidelines and instructions. Secure local prerequisites for the budget
• Challenge planning figures in their own area of responsibilities for the region
• Analyse and report financial performance with comments for the region covering all financial responsible
• Initiate and follow up improvement actions within the region
• Actively contribute in developing routines, processes and ways of working on global and regional levels by sharing input and suggestions based on knowledge and experience
• Translate and/or break down the target to regional/site level in order to support the global/consolidated targets
• Participate or drive various projects within Real Estate

Critical Competencies
• Hold a university degree and/or an MBA in relevant financial field(s)
• At least 4 years Business Control experience
• Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills
• An open and positive attitude with ability to create an inspiring and motivating climate
• Thorough understanding of the Volvo Group business, processes and steering model
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations globally
• Business minded with a holistic view
• Very strong personal integrity and credibility
• Global mind-set with multicultural knowledge
• Fluent business English, spoken and written

• Proactive behavior
• Knowledge about the Volvo Finance processes and accounting model
• Proficient in finance Tools including Excel (SAP R3, BCS, BIS)
• Very good analytical skill
• Good skills in data processing is a plus
• Business understanding from Real estate and Retail is a plus
