Purpose of the role
Act as Business Partner in all Finance related topics to Foodservice Commercial Director and the Foodservice management team. Take a leading and proactive role in providing business and finance support andmanage month end reporting, latest estimate and business plan process. Proactive support in identifying and executing improvement of future business performance. Support in executing strategic initiatives from PFD Management team. The position is based at Paulig Foods office in Mölndal. You have one direct report Business Controller and you report to the Division Finance Director and to the Commercial Director Foodservice.
Main Responsibilities
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities and give recommendations and proposals for improving business results to Foodservice Commercial Director and the Foodservice management team
• Calculate Foodservice total price requirements based upon documentation and argumentation from Sourcing/Sales (inflation driven, currency driven, strategic pricing driven or on innovation products) and set targets per market
• Take an active role in Strategic Pricing way of working, together with Foodservice CDM
• Give proactive recommendations and identify risks and opportunities for New Business projects
• Support in executing strategic initiatives from PFD Management team
• Coordinating the budget process together with other Business Controllers as well as Foodservice Commercial Director
• Set top down targets within Foodservice together with Foodservice Commercial Director
• Analyzing month end result on a total level and explain deviations in main P&L drivers to the Foodservice management team
• Coordinating the Latest Estimate process on a total Foodservice level together with the Foodservice Commercial Director
Qualifications
• You have a Bachelor degree or Master of Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years of experience from a medium to large B2B company in controlling
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and projects
• Commercial interest and strong Business Partner Skills
• International experience is a plusExperience from working in ERP system (preferably AX) and business information IT tools
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to challenge and influence
• High integrity, i.e. standing up for Financial conclusion even in case of diverse discussion
• Proactive
• Self-driven
• Adaptive communication skills
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Action oriented and persistent in execution
