The Purchasing Business Development team is looking for a new team member to help drive the shift!
Our mission
Challenge and develop Scania Purchasing in the area of digitalization. We are covering lifecycle management of the main Purchasing IT Systems; from requirements, implementation projects to ongoing further development and maintenance.
In this expansive phase, where we replace old legacy systems with new digitalization tools we need to develop a more consistent application Roadmap & System landscape supporting and covering the needs of business processes, we need you to contribute with your knowledge and expertise on our Purchasing system transformation journey.
Your part in our mission
You will work with the complete Purchasing system journey together with the support of colleagues as well as cross functionally. You will also work with internal stakeholders at Scania but also third party suppliers as well as other brands within the VW group. Certain travel to different Scania locations will occur.
As a Business Architect you will:
• Advise on short term questions and provide a long-term business-oriented roadmap for IT and business systems
• Analyze how business processes can be improved, how the information is handled, and if there is system support supporting the business properly
• Visualize the company's (Purchasing) operations using various models, both current and target descriptions
• Conduct workshops to document and analyse business organization, processes and information needs using standard process and information modelling techniques and systems (Sparx EA & Astrakan)
Your profile
In order to be successful you need to have:
• MSc in Information Technology or comparable education (or similar work life experience).
• At least 3-5 years' work life experience
• Fluent skills in English as well as intermediate skills in Swedish
You have strong collaboration and communication skills, are good at networking and creating relationships. You have the ability to articulate ideas and be fluent in whiteboard demonstrations. Experience of understanding business requirements and processes is important as well as having the ability to translate business requirements into plans for IT solutions. Knowledge about SAP Success Factors is an advantage.
