To become one of the biggest and most profitable Truck manufacturers in Asia, Scania, and Traton are increasing our presence in the Chinese markets through a new production plant as well as building local R&D capabilities. The R&D organisation is in the build-up phase right now.
The organisation is initially located in Södertälje with an expansion in China. We work in an agile landscape where designers, production, and purchasers work closely.
Your work assignment
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for needs/requirements needed in order to deliver cross-functional IT solutions for our R&D designers, engineers, and developers within the IO Asia.
Your responsibility will initially be to ensure that the demands/requirements based on the customer needs on the information systems and applications required for R&D in China are clearly defined and then in collaboration with the responsible organisations in R&D Södertälje, in order to define suitable solutions. That requires close collaboration with teams both in Södertälje and China, in order to support the Chinese colleagues with the necessary IT-tools they need in their product development work. In this role, you need to establish way of working based on current best practice and define the alterations required to meet the local conditions.
Who you are
You have a Data science background, Computer engineering background or similar from University
You have solid experience from previous requirement analysis and project management positions and have a strong focus on developing pragmatic solutions in complex areas.
You are comfortable working in an organisation under an intensive build-up phase, you like to take initiative and you are able to fast and efficiently solve problems and deliver results.
You are a dedicated team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
You are solution-oriented, communicative, and well-structured in your work.
You find motivation in finding the best way forward in cooperation with others.

Work location
Work will be done from Södertälje and flexible work location may be applied to reflect competencies needed and deliveries in the project. Later options will be discussed to be on shorter or longer assignments in our R&D office in China, based on interest and business needs.
