Do you have a deep interest in field of sustainability and biodiversity development and want to be a part of changing how we work with agriculture and food production? We are now looking for a biotechnician to join our R&D section at Hasta Eco AB in Arboga.
Your role
Primarily you will be working from our lab in Arboga with our team and head of business development. The role involves developing new products and production methods working towards our goals for keeping and increasing the biodiversity and sustainbility in food production. You will perform scientific testing and analysis on various data and samples for our projects and maintain the quality in our scientific process to mitigate any risks.
You will also contribute with ideas for new products and production methods and work on resolving issues to avoid project blocks and escalations as well as communicating both internally with the project team and externally with our stakeholders and vendors.
Who you are
We think that you have a degree as a civil engineer in a relevant field of study such as biotechnology, chemical biology or bioprocesses and also previous professional or research experience in soil biochemistry, soil microbiology or biochar with a deep interest in sustainability and biodiversity for agricultural development.
To succeed in this role you should have the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization and be comfortable with some public speaking for project and product presentations. Besides educational and working background, who you are as a person and how well you fit with our team and business partners are the most crucial aspects for this role.
