Swedbank is looking for a passionate BCM & Resilience Specialist to play a key role in strengthening the banks resilience. The role is part of the Group Function for Business Continuity Management & Resilience and will support the organisation in preventing, managing, and recovering from disruptions and incidents.
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to: Be part of a team of BCM & Resilience professionals who work with senior management in all lines of business to coordinate BCM & Resilience activities.
Support the maintenance and enhancement of the Group BCM Framework and methodologies, tools and methodologies.
Support the adoption and implementation of the BCM Framework across Swedbank Group, assisting Business Areas, Product Areas, Group Functions (BA/PA/GFs) and subsidiaries in achieving compliance with regulations.
Coordinate BCM activities and support our BCM Champions in Business Areas, Product Areas, Group Functions and Material Subsidaries to meet quality standards and compliance requirements for BCM.
Plan and facilitate the Group-wide BCM Forum and other knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Develop and deliver BCM trainings to enhance resilience and preparedness across the organisation.
Ensure integration of civil preparedness into BCM planning and align BCM efforts with IT continuity for a robust resilience strategy.
Support team members in ongoing activities, projects and ad hoc inquiries to the BCM & Resilience Function.
What is needed in this role: Previous experience in BCM or Resilience within the banking or finance sector, minimum 3-5 years.
A relevant university degree or equivalent.
Knowledge of BCM best practices and operational risk management, including international BCM Standards (e.g ISO 22301, ISO 27031) and regulatory requirements for banking/ financial sector (SFSA's regulations and general guidelines, EBA Guidelines, DORA).
Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with a high sense of responsibility, delivering high-quality results on time.
Analytical mindset with a consultative, problem-solving approach and excellent collaboration skills.
High level of English and Swedish proficiency (both written and spoken)
