As a Commercial function we have the assignment to set the preconditions for a successful meeting with consumers and customers as a part of the range and product development process. We maximize the omnichannel growth and positioning opportunities with the range & product offer we have, and the new range & product offer we are developing.

We are accountable to create the IKEA Commercial plan based on the agreed goals in the IKEA Business Plan. A clear direction, supported and executed by world-class competences, is the way forward for driving sales and optimizing growth. Every member of the Commercial team plays a key role in meeting this assignment and contributing to building a strong efficient Commercial function.

As Sales Support, you will support the Commercial function in RA Home Textiles and Rugs to execute an impactful, commercial and sellable offer through the entire product life cycle.

You will proactively support the commercial year cycle in the functional dimension. You will collaborate with several stakeholders, both internal CBR and external INGKA-Retail, by supporting administrative tasks related to the Commercial function in various processes and systems. You help to coordinate different processes across the year cycle, ensuring alignment and smooth execution. This involves tracking timelines, and deliverables to maintain schedules and deliverables. You contribute to gathering, organizing, and analyzing data related to sales and communication activities, supporting in generating insights that inform decision-making.

If you have experience of working in a Sales or a Communication role within IKEA it is an advantage. You have a drive and passion for sales and communication, strong interest in details and precision, you are a fast learner with a structured approach who can take initiative and have the courage to question and challenge. You are motivated by building and developing good relations and collaboration with all relevant stakeholders. You can see opportunities where others would see challenges. You are strong in analyzing, creating insights from performance data, and drawing conclusions.

We work in a global environment with co-workers from all over the world. As a company we are constantly developing, which requires the ability to drive change in a complex, fast-paced, international environment. The company language is English, so fluency both verbally and in writing is required.
