The Degerfors Operation unit is specialized in stainless steel and our product range offers more than 300 variations in both dimensions and recipes. The QPES department is in the beginning of Degerfors Operations production chain and consist of approximately 30 committed colleagues.
Main responsibilities
Personnel responsibility and lead and distribute the work within the department
Responsible for compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
Establish a budget and ensure that forecasts and key figures are fulfilled.
Together with support functions, manage and develop the equipment so that is maintains a high reliability and cost efficiency
Responsibility for preparing and implementing rationalizations with a focus on staff efficiency and production increase.
In this role you will also work with constant improvements as a natural part of everyday work, and you will be an important part in different projects regarding this. You will also be responsible for monitoring the quality outcome and decide on measures that prevent deviations.
Qualifications
A technical higher education or equivalent competence
Previous experience from managing others
Good knowledge regarding the office package
Experienced level in English and Swedish in both speech and writing
Structured and accurate in your work.
It is meritorious if you have professional experience that involves a good knowledge of the current area's production and administrative flow.
We want you to thrive in an industrial environment, with the ability of taking quick decisions and handle a lots of contact points. You are driven to take initiative, solve problems and you are open to change. Furthermore, you enjoy working in teams, but also independently. Lastly, we want you to have a strong communicative ability, and you are driven by working in a personnel leadership role.
