The children are both girls Aurelia (7) and Orlanda (4) both go to The Queen's Church of England Primary School which is a 10 minute walk from the front door.
Located on the Thames 8 miles from the centre of London (Hyde Park) Kew is one of the most sought after locations in Greater London with excellent transport connections by underground (Kew Gardens), overground (Kew Bridge) and with very good bus services.Kew Gardens is a World Heritage site and the entrance of its 320 acres of botanical gardens is on the other side of the Green on which we live.
Richmond town centre is 10 minutes away on the bus which stops on the Green and it is a superb shopping area and has cinemas theatres and many restaurants.The area is host to many foreign students and classes teaching English as a foreign language are readily avaible.
Description of tasks:
Help first thing in the morning e.g. getting children up and dressed; making their breakfast; taking them to school.
Cleaning up after breakfast and light housework whilst children are at school e.g. hoovering, taking washing out of the washing machine; emptying the dishwasher and ironing of children's clothes.There is no heavy cleaning involved as we have a cleaner.
Preparing children's tea/supper. Supervising homework. Helping with bedtime and bath routine.
The children have after school activities including brownies 6-7.30 pm on Tuesday, Acting 3.45- 4.45 on Wednesday and gym 5.00 - 7.00 pm on Wednesday. They also visit the homes of their friends and a friend wil often come back to our house after school and they have supper with our children.
Description of qualifications:
Driving license is desirable and if necessary driving lessons will be arranged.Should be confidant understanding what is being said to them in English and have at least basic English speaking skills
How does the aupair live:
The Au Pair has her own room across the corridor from the children's room and the use of the new children's bathroom or a shower room. Our house had four bathrooms.
Working hours:
35 hours approximately plus up to two evenings baby sitting.
Benefits apart from pocket money:
For those with their own laptop the house has wireless broadband and if necessary the Au Pair will be provided with a mobile phone.She will also have the use of a new bicycle.
Other conditions:
Now smoker and dependable between 19 and 27 years old.

We would like to see a picture of the applicants and details of experience that would indicate that they can be trusted to look after the welfare of the children and references.
