AXA XL has a great opportunity for an experienced accountant looking to continue or broaden their experience within a Nordic and International scope. The role will be part of an international financial team and reports to the Nordic Analyst, Financial Reporting & Accounting.
The core focus of the newly created role will be delivering financial and accounting expertise to support AXA XL's accounting activities in the Nordic region.
Key tasks associated with the role
• Manage daily, quarterly and annual accounting procedures, including annual closings
• Ensure accounting compliance with group and local standards
• Prepare statutory reports
• Collaborate with tax departments and external consultants in preparing tax returns
• Coordinate and participate in external audit processes
• Participate in expense budget and forecast processes
• Supervise and support processing of payables
• Participate and contribute in various local and group-wide projects
Candidate profile
Relevant candidates will boast previous experience of accounting responsibilities ideally from an international organisation. Candidates demonstrating a broad field of previous accounting responsibilities combined with experience in working with SAP or Oracle will be considered highly relevant. Professional levels of fluency in both Swedish and English are prerequisites, further fluency in Norwegian or Danish a bonus.
You are regarded as a person who pays close attention to the details without compromising your ability to deliver according to deadlines. You are admired for your structure and time-management skills and communicate effectively across different business functions and cultures.
