We are looking for an Assistant at ABB Marine & Ports in Västerås, Sweden. In this position, you will provide general administrative help and secretarial assistance.
You will act as a point of contact for enquiries, providing solutions for those within your scope, and escalating those that require it. You will be instrumental in the smooth running of administrative processes and procedures within the business, grading the urgency of issues, while providing confidential assistance to the management team.
This position reports to Business Manager - Operations.
Your responsibilities
Providing general administrative services and/or secretarial assistance
Performing administrative activities and taking responsibility for delivering specific department processes/programs
Providing assistance to several department managers
Coordination and support of administrative tasks within the local division
Handling expense and travel bills, including invoice processing
Handling purchase orders and invoices for materials and services such as PPE, tools, training and office supplies
Organizing conferences and other kinds of get-together
Your background
Background from similar role and experience is an advantage
You like to take initiative in your work place and you work well both in group and individually
You are service-minded as the tasks vary
You are a team player and like to collaborate with your colleagues
You are driven and proactive
Fluency in English and Swedish is a must, written and spoken alike
