The importer business team is responsible for marketing and sales of the complete range of Volvo Penta products via its importers within CIS countries, Middle East, Africa and Japan. In the importer business team you will be working with some of the most interesting and inspiring countries, cultures and people in the world.

Job description
You will be part of the Industrial Sales team which consists of Sales Managers and a Sales Application Engineer and report to the Director for Importer Business. The position is based in Gothenburg and involves frequent traveling. As an Area Sales Manager at Importer Business you will be responsible for marketing and sales within a geographical area. The job includes sales of industrial engines for generators and off road applications to our private importers and includes negotiating, contract writing and price setting. We believe strongly in being a team player and having customer focus at the same time. Being a good team player when working closely with application engineers to assure perfect match of our products in customer boats probably comes without saying. Our colleagues and customer's success is our success.

Qualifications

University degree in Engineering and/or Business administration
A strong business acumen
Sales experience from a business to business environment
Knowledge about diesel engines & electronics
Proven communication and networking skills
Experience in working in an international environment and interest for different cultures
Fully proficient in English - verbal and writing
Strong general computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Frequent travel capability
