Driver Interaction and Infotainment is one of the fastest growing areas within Automotive today. Competition is not only limited to traditional automotive competitors. Innovative and fast moving companies like Google and Apple are influencing competition heavily. Volvo Cars has successfully launched a cutting edge Driver Interaction and Infotainment system, and is committed to continuous success.
The group Interaction Analysis and Verification consists of 16 team members. We are responsible for system, function and component analysis and verification of Driver Information Module (DIM), Centre Stack Display (CSD) and Head up Display (HUD), within the feature areas Driver Information, Vehicle Functions and HMI Core. Infotainment complete validation is also part of the group's responsibilities.
Your role would be to work with the feature area Driver Information, and the ECUs DIM and HUD in projects on the SPA and MCA platforms. The function areas rotate in the team, but initially the Clock, Fuel Level Indication and various Hybrid functions will be part of your scope, as well as acceptance testing for DIM and HUD. HUD system testing is also included in the scope.
Main responsibilities
• Develop test methods.
• Write and run automated test cases.
• Perform tests in laboratory and in vehicle (signaling).
• Report test results and appropriate recommendations to project management.
• Review of internal requirements and supplier documentation.
• Perform certification activities.
Required qualifications
• Minimum a B.Sc. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Former experience from working with quality assurance of complex embedded systems.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Valid Swedish driver's license.
Meritorious qualifications
• Experience from Automotive and Infotainment area.
• Experience of working with CANoe.
• Experience from working with Volvo systems such as Elektra, TeamCenter and CarCom.
• Experience of programming.
Personal qualities
• Analytical.
• Communicative.
• Cooperative.
