We at Viking Analytics are experiencing an exciting phase of growth, and are exploring unprecedented opportunities to drive industry 4.0 and shape smart factories. To strengthen our team and to build innovative solutions for predictive maintenance and process optimization we are looking for highly skilled data scientists. If you are excited about using the latest techniques in signal processing, machine learning, control theory and AI for building innovative industrial solutions, then this is the role for you.
THE ROLE
As a Data scientist you will:
• Build robust and scalable signal processing algorithms, machine learning algorithms, optimization and model predictive control algorithms for some of the world's largest asset-heavy companies.
• Work with other data scientists and engineers, and collaborate to design state-of-the-art products and solutions
• Engage with stakeholders and customers to deliver end-to-end products
YOUR SKILLS
• You are an innovative data scientist, able to work independently, and you are comfortable with time-series data.
• A Ph.D. or MSc in signal processing, automatic control theory, machine learning, statistics or a related field.
• Proficient in feature engineering, pattern recognition, model predictive control and predictive modelling
• Deep knowledge in advanced mathematical and statistical methods
• Strong programming skills in general, preferably Python, R, Matlab or C
• Strong communication skills, fluent in English
