We've just hit a growth spurt and are on the lookout for an AML Legal Counsel to join our motley crew of curious, growth minded and all around nice people.
About the role
As an AML Legal Counsel you will be responsible for providing advice and support to the business in legal matters from an AML perspective. You will ensure that internal governing documents are established to ensure that Zimpler complies with law, regulations and practices in the field. Furthermore, you will support and advice on product development and Zimplers entry into new markets as well as on the implementation of regulatory changes.
In addition to this you will also support employees in complex matters to ensure compliance with regulations and support the AML Manager in the daily work.
Things you'll be responsible for
• Advising the organization in our international expansion and being the AML team's point of contact in the new market's workstream.
• Managing the internationalization project from an AML legal perspective.
• Coordinating with local counsel, working closely with people in Sweden and internationally.
• Support in connection with Zimpler's entry into new markets and product development.
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external AML rules and regulations.
• Providing guidance and support to the organization in legal AML matters.
• Keep updated on Zimpler's policies and procedures and AML regulatory developments.
• Support the AML Manager in the daily work.

You are a self-motivated fast learner and you are a social person that likes the idea of interacting with our customers. You have the ability to work independently, at the same time you are a great team player with strong communication skills.
And you are definitely
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Working knowledge within AML regulations
• A university graduate from a related field with 2+ years of working experience.
