Drive continuous improvement and lean actions which engage local operations towards a culture of proactive work safety, sustainability and quality assurance.Collaborate with procurement, marketing and sales functions in product development projects, supporting process and technical know-how, feasibility analysis, test trails and concept evaluations. Serve as the technical contact person for some product lines and key customers.Line manager for the quality department and responsible for the company laboratory, equipment and routines. Quality and TCS Manager belongs to the local plant management team and has today one reporting person.Key responsibilites??????* Maintenance and improve the Quality Management system and third-party certifications (ISO 9001, 14 001, 45 001, 13 485 and MDD) by ensuring the compliance with all site procedures* Perform regular internal and external audits (customers, suppliers, third-party certification).* Regularly monitor that product quality and specifications are met, if needed perform adjustments.* Secure calibration and approvals of measurement tools and equipment.* Manage customer claims to root causes, define corrective action plans and lead their completion.* Ensure effective and timely communication to customer regarding complaints, claims or issues. Handle claim credits in agreement with set approval and authority routines.* Secure that cleaning, pest prevention and related services are in place and operating on the level of high hygiene standards, including Cleanroom. * Collaborate with Production, Sourcing and suppliers to ensure right raw material, services and finished product quality and identify cost savings opportunities. * Network and keep regular meetings with selected AM R&D centers to collect information about new materials, processes and technologies, actively translate them to relevant local know-how for the Falun production. Take initiative and drive local process improvement actions. * Authority to stop production and withdraw products when materials, designs or processes fail in quality or safety standards. Authority to classify and release materials outside of specifications.* Develop personal leadership and functional competency to achieve high customer value in alignment with AM strategies, core values and leadership principlesNeeded experience & competencies* University degree, M.Sc in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations Management, Materials Science or similar. * Some years of independent work experience as Quality Manager/Engineer. * Work experience or know-how of Technical Customer Service and Product Development methods. * Fluent in speaking and writing Swedish and English. Entitled to work permanently in Sweden. * Strong analytical skills. * Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.* Proficient in Microsoft Office platform.* Some international travel is required.
