• Provide financial, administrative and clerical support. You will ensure that payments are completed and expenses are controlled by receiving payments, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices according to the policies.
• Provide financial status information by preparing monthly reports, revenue analysis and other projects.
• Respond to basic client inquiries and other clerical tasks related to maintaining the accounts receivable records for the organisation. You may also prepare customer statements and bill our customers.
• Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions. Among others, you will be in charge of account payable and account receivable.
• You will be in charge of Revenue Recognition. Our company has a strong recurring revenue, so you will be responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of our software licenses.
• Supporting management with the Capitalisation of R&D and the annual audit.
• All the other things! One week you may be presenting financial metrics in a meeting and the next you might be finding out how to improve a current policy. We're growing, but we are still a startup and you need to thrive in an intense and very collaborative environment.
We are excited about you because:
• You are a collaborative team member with low prestige, willing to jump in where needed.
• You have at least 4 years of experience working in a similar position. You feel comfortable with following some procedures the company might adopt, but you would also love to suggest and lead changes!
• You have consistent experience working with Fortnox and Microsoft Excel and you thrive on the challenge of needing to find your way around these tools.
• You are driven, analytical and organised - able to see the big picture and sweat the small details. You enjoy getting things done, no matter how complex they might become.
• You are comfortable working in English and Swedish - our customers are in 35 countries and our team of 45 consists of 21 nationalities. This is part of what makes Volumental a great place to work!
