Tasks
As Senior Product Engineer you have the overall technical product responsibility for the software of Stressometer - a system used for flatness measurement and control in rolling mills. You will be involved in the whole product life cycle from specification and design to test, release and after sales. Supporting customers and colleagues within your area of expertise will also be part of your job. In other words, you will operate at the center of events and be provided with a large network and great influence.
You will structure and coordinate product improvements to enhance the customer value of our products and ensure continuous high product quality. To succeed in doing this you have the ability to set clear goals, prioritize actions and lead your colleagues and team members in their work.
Requirements
As a person you are communicative and enjoy teamwork. You have analytical skills and good problem solving abilities with structured approach. You enjoy taking initiative, visualizing goals, defining actions and inspiring your colleagues to join in.
You have a Master's degree or equivalent, with experience of software development. Experience of working with product quality or product maintenance is desired. Knowledge about measurement systems, project management and product life cycle management is qualifying. Knowledge in Swedish and English is a requirement.
