In cooperation with HR Learning & Development our department HR Global Operations is managing all activities for Learning Operations. Our HR Global Shared Service Centre for Learning & Development fulfils a pivotal role towards all Ericsson employees, with global responsibility for the efficient operations of our total employee learning offering. With regards to Learning Methods and Tools specific services are needed to support Ericsson?s Learning community.
The ability to meet business demands by demonstrating the efficiency and effectiveness of our learning programs and activities is a top priority for the Learning & Development team at Ericsson. The role of the Specialist Learning Technology and Operations will present you with the opportunity to get involved with some multi-national teams. Providing the necessary expertise is of precedence to this role and will see you become a valued member of an ever developing organisation.
Reporting to the global Head of Learning Operations, you will be responsible for supporting our learning designers and learning operations to create and manage learning solutions on multiple IT platforms, trouble-shooting existing online learning, analysing links and interfaces between several Learning Systems and fixing issues that might occur in programs, links or interfaces.
You will be bridging the department Learning & Development and Learning Operations in HR Global Operations with IT experts, exploring possibilities within the Ericsson IT environment and advising over the boundaries of current systems to improve our learning capabilities.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Support the Learning & Development (L&D) stakeholders in learning technology issues with learning tools and methods. The main learning tools currently used by Ericsson:
• Development Software, divers applications for eLearning, Video, Webinars
• Virtual Learning Software for virtual sessions [like Centra or Adobe Connect]
• Ericoll in Sharepoint: End User information through Ericsson Academy web portal
• Learning Management System [SuccessFactors]
• Links and interfaces between main SAP modules and the above systems
• Content Management and storage on several servers
Relationship building with L&D stakeholders and Ericsson IT units:
• L&D community: Head of Competence Readiness, Course Developers, Learning Performance Consultants
• HR Global Operations (HRGO): Global Shared Services Centers L&D teams in New Delhi and Manila
• Global L&D team
• ITTE stakeholders: functions in IT department for support on technical issues as well as keeping track on ITTE developments relevant for L&D
Position Qualifications:
• Background in L&D, ideally with experience of learning solutions design and IT systems, in a variety of systems, e.g. Sharepoint, SuccessFactors, etc.
• Proven experience in managing operational activities / processes / function preferably in an L&D context
• Experience of working with a variety of systems including metadata and reporting elements
• Experience in driving projects, preferably in learning
• Business understanding, able to grasp high level content objectives & have total perspective over entire L&D catalog
