The Antenna Interface and Frequency Generation Design section, included in the line unit Receiver Design, is looking for an RF designer to strengthen our Frequency Generation team.

The frequency generation platform is responsible for the frequency generation in the transceiver, which includes LO signals, digital clocks and high performance clock signals for DAC's and ADC's.

The aim is to build a team with experienced and dedicated individuals. We believe that our employees are the key to our success.

This position includes:

• Coordination and synchronization of requirements between the frequency generating platform and other disciplines, such as the receiver, transmitter and digital.
• Take active part in the technical frequency generation platform.
• Maintain vendor relations.
• Support for design centers around the world.
• Working in teams, why a team working mindset is required.
• Design electrical Schematics, layout, verification, debugging and documentation. This includes the local timing unit and the synthesizers on the transceiver board.
• To keep updated on new technologies, methodology and design techniques to ensure a competitive level of the design activities.

Prerequisites:

• You are self-motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge.
• Result and Goal oriented
• Practical experience with spectrum analysers, network analysers and oscilloscopes.
• You should have experience with technical work within wireless communication systems and hardware design.
• Experience with simulation tools.

You should also have:

• A Master of Science degree (in electrical engineering or similar) or proven work experience.
• Good written and spoken English.

Extra merits:

• Radio system knowledge
• Microwave engineering knowledge and experience.
