The Nordic EY Workplace Experience team has the ambition to provide the best Workplace Experience within the professional service companies.

We have full internal regional and Global leadership support to pursue this, and to make it happen we must build the strongest and most innovative team in the industry and work closely with strategic external partners. A key role within this team will be the Workplace Experience (WX) Country Lead for Sweden.

The opportunity

The WX Country Lead for Sweden is reporting to the Head of Workplace Experience Operations Nordics.

The Workplace Experience team leads and is responsible for delivering great Workplace Experiences to more than 9,000 EY employees based in the four Nordic countries. EY Nordics currently operates 120 EY offices and supports employees in working from client locations, remotely/from home, and in transit.

Workplace Experience operations has five pillars, that must be delivered and developed with an integrated approach and mindset:

1. Facility Services (Vested partnership with ISS)
2. Real Estate
3. Workplace technology and IT support
4. Ways of Working
5. Travel

The successful candidate will be working closely with internal key stakeholders in the region as well Global and regional corporate functions like e.g., Real Estate, IT, procurement as well as our external partners e.g., ISS.

Your key responsibilities

You will be responsible for activities in Sweden incl. the partnership agreement with ISS. You will be a key member of the Nordic WX Operations leadership team.

The role covers two main areas of responsibility:

Manage country activities within the WX area with focus on facility management in Sweden
Deliver WX change initiatives and projects of various size and complexity in Sweden


The WX Lead will

Drive Change: The WX Lead is responsible for identifying, creating and executing programs and initiatives that promote a positive work experience and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
Ensure Cultural Fit: The WX Lead understands the culture and "DNA" of EY and aligns work activities with EY company needs.
Deliver Exceptional Workplace Experiences: The WX Lead is responsible for the exceptional employee experience for the EY Sweden's employees making sure the workplaces enable both efficient work and wellbeing during the workday.


Skills and attributes for success

To become a success, the WX Lead should delivery good results within several exciting areas:

Facility Services: Manage and develop the Vested partnership agreement with ISS (main facility management supplier to EY) with focus on good governance of WX operation activities
Workplace Experience: Have knowledge of and interest in the workplace experience concept on both strategic and operational level
Cost Controlling: Take ownership of local budget and spending (with focus on facility services)
Ambassador Role: Be a true workplace ambassador towards the EY employees
Relationship Builder: Build the bridge between the EY employees and the EY leadership in workplace matters
Creativity: Think "outside the box" and proactively come up with new ideas for improving the employee experience
Stakeholder Management: Engage proactively with key EY senior leaders

In addition, the WX Lead should have good commercial and financial understanding and lead change activities in a project management structure.

To qualify for the role you must have

A master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Economics, Engineering, Management/Business Administration, Psychology, or similar)
Experience with service management (or similar role) and P&L responsibility
Experience with the retail, hospitality, or workplace industry (Real Estate services, Facilities Management)
Project management skills and mindset
Good communication skills in English and Swedish (verbal and written)

Ideally, you'll also have

Experience and interest with new technologies such as Generative AI
Interest in sustainability
