We are looking for the right person to be part of our welding process specialist team. We design the control of the electrical welding arc for a variety of welding processes and customer applications. We strive to understand as much as possible about the welding arc - the physical phenomena we control - and to make solid design implementations. We are a medium size team where every person fills an important role every day and in every project.
What we are looking for
In order of priority:
• You are a humble team player who is positive and has a structured approach
• You have a strong interest in understanding the science of what you control
• You have a few years of engineering related experience
• You have experience of model based development or is eager to learn
Education
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering in for example software, electronics, physics or automation
Responsibilities
Work together with welding specialists, other engineers and market representatives to:
• Understand customer applications and needs
• Explore control solutions to achieve desired welding functions and performance
• Implementation solid control design, for example modular, reusable and easy to maintain
• Represent the welding process team in one or several product development projects
The position is placed in Gothenburg, Sweden. Traveling may occur.
