The year was 2005 and e-commerce had long been precarious. With an idea to offer secure and simple payment solutions, Klarna was founded that same year. Want to join us on a journey beyond the ordinary? Klarna is looking for a Web Developer to Klarnas Marketing department to the office in Sweden.

You will work in a successful and growing team in Klarnas Marketing department where we aim to deliver cutting-edge web development and Web based applications that serve all markets on a global level.

Working tasks
• Back-end and front-end development
• Planning and implementing new epic functionality in different frameworks such as CakePHP and Drupal
• Working with stakeholders to prioritize projects and deliver them against business requirements
• Optimizing website awesomeness: commercially as well as technically
• Documenting technical architecture and platform
• Quality Control

Who are you?
• Previous experience in a similar role, working as an IT-consultant or at a web agency
• Ability to work in teams, both internally and with external parties
• Being able to multi-task (like a boss), prioritize and work towards a deadline under pressure
• Enthusiastic about trying out and learning new web technologies and development techniques
• Business oriented. The site exists of a reason, to fulfill business goals as well as user goals. This person needs a business oriented thinking and an ambition to contribute to the business success
• E-commerce knowledge is a plus

Required skills
• Implemented database driven PHP-applications
• HTML, CSS, Javascript (jQuery)
• Worked with some CMS or framework such as Drupal, CakePHP or similar

Bonus skills
• Version control such as Git, SVN or CVS (we use Git)
• HTML5, CSS3, LESS
• Solid understanding of relational databases such as MySQL. (Views, procedures, optimization, etc.)
• Can recite at least 5 great memes at any given moment
