Job Description
As a Web Application Developer at Svensk Lånemarknad, you work directly with the CTO as part of a dedicated team of high-performance developers and have a strong say in shaping the future of our product. All of our developers work both on the frontend and backend, collaborating with our web designers to create a Wow-experience for our users in every step of the process. You will be responsible for producing significant new features and improvements to help our customers in both new and better ways.
We are very aggressive in making sure we are riding the best web technology wave and are therefore migrating all of our web code to the Angular / Node.js / MongoDB stack from the JQuery / Rails / MySQL stack. As part of our team you will experience first-hand how this revolutionizes our ability to build rich web applications with awesome performance quickly. We use cutting edge features of web browsers such as WebRTC and web sockets as we can control which browser should be used for several of our web applications. For the consumer facing applications we optimize the experience for up-to-date browser and make the basic functionality work on older browsers.
We have built our own one-page web application platform to speed up our development. This platform has been a key success factor for us as it has enabled us to build relatively complex and user friendly functionality in a short time. We need help in extending and refactoring this platform to enable us to build more powerful one-page applications.
Skills & Requirements
We prioritize awesomeness over quantity when it comes to hiring talent. We expect you to be smart, velocity driven, and fun and that you have built at least one web application that you are proud of. You need to be analytically oriented and great at communicating your ideas.
