Our organization:
Our purpose is making a change for future generations, by enabling circular solutions and operations with the mindset that with every end there is a new beginning. We identify and drive Volvo Group Circular solutions and we perform Circular operations. We support all Brands, Truck Divisions and Business Areas in the Volvo Group. The Circular Operations & Solutions organization comprises of about 800 employees in 8 locations world-wide.
To Service and repair the products are natural to Volvo Group, and to maximize the utilization of materials ones already produced the Remanufacturing program has been in place since the 1950th's. This becomes possible with the extensive established reverse logistics and operation footprint. Recycling of materials not possible to restore is natural to us, and we are now exploring to maximize these flows with more and more separation of material for even greater value and circularity. The number of circular offerings and solutions are expanding which makes us add this new position as Circular Business Developer.

We perform various activities from business analysis to Industrialization including technology development of circular solutions and offers. We take pride in the craftsmanship needed to salvage the components and we aim to use innovation for sustainability. Main activities and responsibilities:
We are looking for a person who is genuinely interested in circular economy and eager to create fruitful relationships through extensive networking internally as well as externally to develop further business opportunities for circular flows of the Volvo Group products.
You will perform business analysis and lead investigation/projects to motivate concrete and hands-on circular solutions opportunities for the Volvo Group. You can handle projects in complex multi stake holder environments and create confidence among senior management and decision makers. This means that you will both be able to identify new flows of re-usage of material, but also create new circular products and solutions to offer the customers. To make a real difference you will be taking both the business- as well as the technical aspects in your considerations. You will have a great network and will be working closely with the Reman Engineers within the same organization. You will be a change ambassador enabling Circular economy ways within the Volvo Group and support the various brands in their development of product offerings.
Who are you?
We believe that you have a M.Sc within Engineering or Business, focused on Sustainability and/or Circular economy or have similar experience. You have extensive business development and project management experience and are used to make presentations for top management. You have a large network in the relevant field.
