As part of our aim to increase the number of qualified pre-school teachers, we are looking to hire an English speaking teacher that has a passion for working with children aged between 1-3 years. We are looking for someone that is a native English speaker. Vittra Lidingö is a bi-lingual pre-school (English and Swedish). Ideally you will have a good knowledge of Swedish, but this is not essential as English will be the only language that you will speak with the children.
We are looking for someone that is highly motivated, has a solution orientated approach and with excellent people skills.

What we offer:
Vittra Lidingö started in 1998 on the scenic peninsula of Lidingö, Stockholm. Today the school has approximately 300 children and students from pre-school up to Grade 9. We have 30 dedicated and highly trained educators who work together to make a highly efficient team.
At Vittra Lidingö the English speaking educators speak only English on a day to day basis, and the Swedish educators speak Swedish. This means that the children in our care have good conditions for learning both languages in a natural way. At Vittra's International pre-schools and schools we of course naturally work with diversity.

You would be working in a stimulating and safe environment in which there exists a close educational relationship between adults and children. As an educator, you will get the opportunity to participate and engage in innovative and forward-thinking ideas with regards to the students, and help develop pedagogical discussions in one of Sweden's leading independent school organisations. You will also have the chance to work on your own individual development plan, that will constantly evolve as you take new strides in your professional role.
