We are now looking for a Vehicle Electrical Systems Engineer to join our Hardware team in Gothenburg.
YOUR MISSION AT VOI

• Be part of an exceptionally talented Vehicle R&D Team that spearheads the vehicle design in the hottest micro-mobility scale-up in Europe

PREFERRED SKILL SET
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in electric vehicle domains
• Good understanding of light electric vehicle system architecture, including battery pack, ECU, motor and dashboard
• Experience from working with CAN communication
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment, soldering, and hardware debugging.
• Familiar with quality assurance, quality control and certification of electronic products
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO EMBARK
• Be deeply involved in design, prototyping, and testing of all electrical systems inside our vehicles
• Evaluate different technologies and suppliers to find the best battery, charging and powertrain solutions for our vehicles
• Work with other engineers in analysis, investigation and resolution of vehicle problems as they related to the electrical systems
• Actively contribute to development of supplier specifications and standards for all vehicle electrical systems
• Define and maintain test specifications and procedures for all vehicle electrical systems
