Trainer position is open on an interim basis to deliver training requirements. The prime role of Product Trainers is in teaching new hire classes for the contract they represent, new product training (NPI), and recursive sessions.
Responsibilities:
• Acquire and maintain certification in Convergys Trainer Certification Program.
• You will present existing training materials through lecture, hands on demonstrations, and supporting activities for technical, customer service and sales accounts.
• You will assist with the training of other classes as required. You will work under the supervision and direction of a qualified Team Leader, Class; both, in turn, are under the supervision of the local Training Coordinator.
• You will assist as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in the preparation of new materials for NPI or updates to existing training material. In this case, they would provide the information to the Team Leader, Class to update the material.
• You will be assigned an existing qualified Team Leader, Class to act as a mentor (Educational Supervisor) to help them learn the Training Department's policies and procedures; get them started with reporting functions and be their main contact.
• Assess student performance in the class. Coach, deliver feedback and monitor student progress toward performance standards.
• Deliver performance information to Training & Operational Leaders of the employee both during and at completion of new hire, recursive and new product training.
• Stay current on internal work processes, policies and procedures.
• Participate and contribute to the continuous improvement of curriculum and department policies and procedures.
• Participate in both Convergys and client Trainer sessions as required.
• Meet Trainer KPIs.
• Maintain knowledge on changes to client products, services, polices & procedures.
Requirements:
• Skill in providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Must demonstrate meeting or exceeding all KPIs for their current role
• Skill in verbal and written communication to analyze, interpret and address customer needs.
• Knowledge of PC applications. Possess a strong understanding of current technology
• Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.
• Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.
• Demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times
• Demonstrate effective communicate skills in multiple settings
• Maintain a high level of energy when facilitating a class
• Knowledge of contact services industry and best practices.
• Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for any of the above.
• Successful candidate have opportunity to continue in the position as trainer on interim basis.
• Fluently knowing a Scandinavian language as well as English
• Experience or knowledge of power tools is a merit but not a requirement
• Technical experience is a merit but not a requirement
