As Unilever's new Demand planner, you will be responsible for a portfolio's demand forecasts and supply process from our Sourcing units. You are expected to work closely together with the Customer Development function to build an integrated volume plan analyses and understand underlying changes in the forecasts and to manage short-term requests from the business. You will identify and manage supply risks by having a close cooperation with the Sourcing Units and Unilever Europe B.V. (UEBV) and ensure that the business is informed of any potential supply risk. Since you will manage and have a lot of contact with different stakeholders and functions you need to have good communication and influencing skills. We also see that you are self-motivated, you can work independently and have the excitement and passion for making improvements and finding new capabilities for growth.
The Demand Planner will be Responsible for:
• Deliver integrated volume plan (0-24 months rolling) for your portfolio
• Highlight changes and gaps in the demand plan towards the Customer Development function
• Understand past and future assumptions, risks and opportunities
• Understand and apply statistical models, depending on historical patterns and horizons using exception based planning.
• Report, analyse, understand and deliver KPI 's (Volume Bias, Volume Accuracy, product availability, Stock cover optimization)
• Problem solving skills in order to manage short term demand requests
• Translate potential supply risks and ensure clear communication to internal and external customers
• Understand and manage Master Data for the local portfolio
• Drive the Supply Chain responsibility in the innovation process
Requirements:
• Preferably a bachelor degree within economics or logistics
• Strong interest towards Supply Chain
• Strong analytical skills
• Good communications and influencing skills
• Ability to work outside your comfort zone and tolerate pressure
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes
• Strong Excel skills
• SAP is strongly meriting
• Fluent in English and Swedish is a merit
