The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• 6+ years of experience in the field of QA engineering/Testing
• 4+ years of managerial experience from large scale teams
• Experience with implementing QA / Test Management in large scale programs
• Communicable, able to facilitate changes, competent in setting priorities and making people focus on them
• Expert manager of people, strong relationship building skills and recognized as a leader of people

Your tasks:
• Work as Senior Test Manager for defining the overall testing strategy and managing the test for migration of an insurance portfolio from source to target systems as part of a post merger integration of 2 insurance companies.
Your key responsibilities:
• Overall Test strategy and governance and Plan for the Release and drive implementation of that strategy as part of the release.
• Test planning and control including working with business stakeholders to assess and plan competence needs and procuring external consultants as needed
• Leading testing efforts across the full Release lifecycle, from Continuous Exploration process to Go-Live
