Our business entails extensive travelling, why optimized travel possibilities for our employees are essential for the business. You will be part of a team who works with different aspects of business and office support, and you will report to the HR Director. This position means independent work on a global level.
The position requires ability to manage the Travel Agency (TMC) relationship as well as the development and maintenance of internal and external relationships with varied travel suppliers and Acne Studios departments.
The Travel Representative will manage the global travel strategy by providing directions and recommendations for all departments and manage third party travel service providers.
This is a temporary position of approximately 1 year.
Job Description
As Travel Representative you will oversee all activities of TMC related to travel service operations. You will act as single point of contact to address all TMC and traveler issues. You will regularly conduct business reviews with TMC to maintain and improve processes and service level.
The role also means overall responsibility to make sure travels are made professional, cost-effective, accurately and according to policies and guidelines.
Tasks will include but not be limited to:
• Work proactively to ensure policy compliance, and to ensure that the company's guidelines for travelling are maintained and up to date.
• Research and resolve any internal complaints or travel related concerns
• Develop effective working relationships through excellent cross team collaboration
• Coordinate global travel spend reporting
• Monitor travel spend to identify any growth, trends or changes
• Oversee travel related RFP processes and analysis
• Monitor travel vendors performance to push cost reduction and savings
• Identify market gaps and negotiate accordingly with new and/or existing vendors
• When bigger events are planned you will also be involved in scheduling, planning and keeping track of major bookings of travel and accommodation.
Desired Qualifications
We believe that a Bachelor's Degree of Finance, or similar education', is needed as well as at least 3 years of experience from the travel industry.
We want you to have in depth knowledge of the travel industry's regulations, policies and pricing. You also need to have an understanding of TMC operations, strong negotiation skills and experience of customize global reports. It is also important that you have excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience of project management.
As a person you need to be self-driven and solution oriented to be able to find new ways for continuous improvement. We also see that it is essential that you are a person who easily cooperates with others, and that you are good at networking and build relations and trust within and outside the company.
The work environment at Acne Studios is fast-paced and energetic; no day is ever the same. You will be based at Acne Studios Head Office in Stockholm.
