The Thule Group Supply chain has, in parallel with strong sales growth, undergone significant changes the last couple of years, i.
e. forward integration, changed distribution centre locations, built new factories and DC's.
These changes have all increased the importance of logistics in the Thule Group and we therefore have this exciting opportunity for you to join our expanding Supply Chain Organization as our new Transport Manager with global reach. Your main challenge will be to secure that we, in terms of transportation, deliver a high service level to our customers in a climate smart and cost efficient way. You will achieve this together with our Transport administration team, Distribution centres and Sales organization, by identify and drive improvements in our distribution network, as well as with our forwarders and customers.
To be successful in this role you need to possess extensive knowledge of Transportation Management, have international business experience and a strong understanding of logistics and transport tendering - especially connected to distribution within the FMCG industry. You have proven yourself to be a decisive, results oriented person with a strong self-drive. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills makes it easy for you to create structure in complex situations. Your ability to easily communicate and build good relationships will also be of high value. Naturally you are fluent in English.
