What you will do?
As a Transformation Leader you will be a key resource when it comes to realize the Volvo Cars Strategy through transformation and operational development initiatives within the Procurement and Supply Chain area. You will have a key role in improving performance within Supply Chain Design, End-To-End Supply Chain Visibility, Sustainability and Efficiency.
You will initiate and manage key cross-functional initiatives with an end-to-end responsibility under your scope. Supported by a project team, senior matter experts and senior executives.
Pending on scope this covers the full range of activities from business analysis, operational strategy development and concept design to solution implementation and value realization. You will have change management in your mind from start in every project. Cause we want to create change together, that lasts. You will communicate within all levels of the company around your projects. Preparing presentation material, presenting and anchoring decisions for senior executives as well as all other impacted levels.
You will work with a fact-based and business case driven approach securing that the solutions developed always are the best for Volvo Cars. When it comes to realizing value you will work closely with key stakeholder from the business side as well as the digital side. Securing that improvements based on digital solutions fulfil the business requirements.
You and your skills
As a person you are passionate about driving transformation and realizing value in a global context. You combine a healthy dose of creativity and strategic mindset with a can-do attitude and do not hesitate to take on new challenges. You are curious and always seek to learn and understand things, and mostly you find it encouraging to work in a fast-changing environment.
Besides having extensive experience of initiating and managing projects, you have been leading teams from business analysis and concept design to solutions implementation and value realization. You understand the importance of stakeholder management and balancing stakeholder needs to accomplish a wanted outcome, as well as understand the importance of change management to be able to transform an organization to something new that lasts. You create trust by building strong relationships and consistently deliver value according to promises.
You are an excellent communicator with the ability to convey messages on all levels, from executive management to the shop floor, verbally, written and through presentations. You have strong analytical skills, understanding the value of analytics and problem-solving methodology to really detect root causes before defining solutions. You have functional expertise in one or several of the areas such as procurement, supply chain, logistics, sales & operations planning or manufacturing. Those should preferably be in combination with experience from defining requirements for digital solutions and collaborating with digital teams in agile mode.
Most likely, you have a Business or Technical Master's degree but most of all you will contribute to our team with your skills and your spirit. Experience from the top Management Consulting firms is a merit.
