hela Sverige Thin Film Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm") is a publicly listed Norwegian technology company with its head office in Oslo and product development in Linköping, Sweden. As the first to commercialize printed rewritable memory, Thinfilm is creating integrated printed system products that include memory, sensing, display, and wireless communicationâ-at a cost-per-functionality unmatched by any other electronic technology.
Thinfilm offers an exciting place to work with an expert dedicated staff, internationally recognized for their technology competence. You will have opportunities for personal growth through involvement in high-tech design work, new product development, and by working together with international suppliers and technology partners.
We are looking for an experienced analogue electronics circuit designer to be based in Linköping, Sweden. The job will involve development of electronic circuits and systems based on Thinfilm's printed transistor technology. You will be working with mixed signal designs and layouts on the transistor level. You will be working closely with the process development team and evaluate and compare simulation that will be done in SPICE with real circuits from the prototype line.
You will also be involved in more system related projects like demonstrators, system prototypes and new reader-writer products. The printed transistor circuits are usually a part of a large system product. These products involve designs based on a Thinfilm-proprietary ASIC chip as well as mixed signal MCU-based designs.
You may be asked to participate in product development done jointly with partners abroad, often in China and Hong Kong, and together with your colleagues and Thinfilm partners, be responsible for the electronics development of new product designs.
Most of the work will be done at Thinfilm's facilities in Linköping. You will participate in some international projects, which may include some travelling. Experience and formal qualifications in electronics design and electro-mechanical design are highly relevant. We also look for and value personal initiative, the ability to work independently and in teams, and demonstrated good English-language communication skills.
Requirements:
• Experience/knowledge of transistor level electronics design
• M.Sc. in electrical engineering
• You shall have a thorough knowledge of mixed signal electronics design and fabrication
• Experience with transistor level CAD systems and SPICE simulation is desired
• Experience working with SPICE modeling of components (transistors, diodes, nonlinear circuit element) is desired
• We expect that you are driven and goal-oriented that perform accurate designs
• We expect that you enjoy doing both practical and theoretical work in a high-paced environment
