Job description:
The Test Manager will have the responsibility of planning and execution of all test activities regarding the project. External part has the overall responsibility of the test activities in the project, and the customers responsibility is in principle limited to acceptance test of the final service. However the candidate needs to have an understanding of the Test process from end-to-end and should also be able to support customers-activities in development (primarily requirement management) and in pilot (align the acceptance test with the following pilot making sure that we deliver a well-tested service to the Business.
The scope of the project:
• Hardware (laptops, desktops, thin clients, tablets)
• Applications (deployment)
• Server Based Computing (Citrix enviroment)
• AD, mail and file storage
• Collaboration (Sharepoint)
• Unified Communication (Lync etc.)
• Print
Following main deliverables are expected:
• Acceptance Test Strategy (already produced in draft)
• Acceptance Test Plan
• Test Preparation
• Test Execution
• Test reports during test
• Acceptance Test report including recommendation Steering Committee
Required skills:
The candidates needs to be an experienced Test Manager who can drive the Test activities independently.
The Test Manager will be responsible for managing (and to a certain extent) educating Test Resources from the Business Areas.
Requirements will be managed in Requisite Pro, and HP Quality Center is the Test Tool.
