We are looking for a Tendering Manager to drive the growth of our eMobility product portfolio of the Global Product Group (GPG) Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Services (GPQSS). You aim to develop and drive the tendering team for eMobility, Rail and Hydrogen Solutions within the Global Center of Competence (GCoC). In this interesting role you will take part influencing our customers on our solutions and translate customer needs and challenges into a competitive offer from Hitachi Energy. You will work in close co-operation with internal stakeholders at the GCoC team, as well as other Hitachi Energy units, Front-end sales, Local Operating Units etc.

Your responsibilities
As a Tender Manager you will act as a manager for the local tender team located in Switzerland, England and Italy, currently 6 people.
Develop complete tenders with your team - support and work close together with the team in the local market.
Delivering on sales targets together with head of sales and tendering.
Driving the results engaging and leveraging on the team capabilities.
Communicating to different stakeholders both internal and external.
Understanding defined responsibilities, internal processes, tools and act accordingly.
Taking ownership and acting in an independent, collaborate way.

Your background
To be successful in this role, you are familiar with transportation and hydrogen technologies.
You hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
International experience
Your ability to work independently as well as in a team collaborating with others.
Experience working in project related business, experience in rail applications is a bonus
Experience working in complex tenders
Experience cost calculations and Full Cost Models
Experience in gate and risk review process
You are used to take ownership of assigned tasks
