Technology Strategy & Planning manager
The Lynk & Co Product Planning team is a global organization responsible for Portfolio Strategy, Cycle Plan and Product Definition of all Lynk & Co products. The department is divided into two groups; Product Portfolio Strategy (PPS) and Product Definition (PD), and located in Göteborg and Hangzhou.
As Technology Strategy & Planning manager, you belong to the Product Portfolio Strategy team and have the responsibility to define the well balanced & competitive strategic Lynk & Co technology road map based on the Market positioning of the Brand together with engineering team.
Responsibilities and tasks
* Takes full ownership of the Lynk & Co global strategic technology road map (regular updates and report to senior management team based on needs) by working with cross functional team to have feasibility check (MSS, PPS, PD, R&D, architecture, manufacturing, PT, innovation, etc.,). The strategic technology road map indicates among others lead products and timing for introduction of new technologies
* Develops Business and Market driven technology Cycle Plan to support all global Lynk & Co products life cycle management, in order for the company to meet the Business Requirements (brand positions, products strategy, market positions, etc.,)
* Lead the development of market & consumer based proposals for how to define or update the future technology
* Support relevant departments within Geely / VCC / Lynk & Co to achieve cross-group study or decisions (such as shared technology or differentiation, etc.,)
* Any other added on tasks based on business needs
Profile and Background
* 5+ years of Automotive and other related area working experience
* Solid knowledge of the following areas: Key technologies status and future trend
* Global key market and customer insights
* Regulations
* Excellent analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
* Academic degree or the equivalent working experience
* Creativity to identify efficiency and improvement opportunities
* Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions
* Cross-cultural sensitivity, especially Asian - European culture
* Self-motivated, self starter, confident to drive complicated tasks with cross functional team
