As Technology responsible engineer for Cylinder Pressure Indication at 91820 Propulsion Systems Testing within the group Propulsion Testing, Systems & Methods,
you are responsible for strategy, development and maintenance of cylinder pressure indication systems in our test cells. The challenges is to both develop, maintain and implement
new features but also keep a strategy and be updated on knowledge through our suppliers and networks.Further, you will work in cross-functional teams with other groups within
the R&D and the Laboratory. Your technical competence, as well as your ability to manage complexity in the systems and collaboration with different teams should be strong so
that you can make your own decisions and technical conclusions. You should have an analytical and solution mindset.
Main responsibilities
* Be the laboratory technology responsible for Cylinder Pressure Indication
* Very good practical and theoretical knowledge of indication system in test cells
* Responsible for implementing SW setup/calculations in the indication system
* Conduct problem solving investigation
* BAM, Business Application Manager for the software used in the indication system
* Responsible for quality assurance of indication system in test cells
* Be the expert regarding questions from users of cylinder pressure measurement systems
* Spread information to all users through, sharepoint and presentations
* Plan and manage activities through a cross functional team to bring out new functionality
* Participate in development of new testing methods
* Participate in procurement and purchases
Required qualifications
* M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equal experience
* Knowledge in Internal Combustion Engines
* Knowledge in engine calibration methods is meritorious
* Knowledge of measuring systems
* Knowledge in software architecture design, Networks, Protocols and Control systems
* Prior experience from testing or similar work is meritorious
* Fluent in English both written and spoken
Personal qualities
* Team player with strong communications skills
* A genuine interest of technology
* Able to work independently and take required actions on own initiative
* A fast learner with an analytical mind
