The Role
As a Technology Portfolio Manager, you will drive and coordinate the research technology development planning, based on CTO and R&D Management directions and also follow the different process fir technology development. You will also manage and maintain the technology portfolio, ensuring a holistic view of the different technology areas. You will manage the Technology Roadmap and the coordination with the feature roadmap, product projects and product roadmap. Together with the R&D Department you will drive that the delivery of new available technology follows the estimated timeline but also follows a proper resource allocation and overall resource planning with Project Management Office.
An important part of the role is to maintain and improve the Technology Project process and act like process manager. Also, to manage and consolidate complex technology portfolio information involving both hardware and software for devices and systems. You will identify high level requirements and establish requests for assessment and analysis of technology towards appropriate R&D. You will work close to the R&D project and on a frequent basis coordinate with R&D units to identify, define, initiate and follow-up technology projects according to the technology portfolio and road map and interact with patent management when needed.
Your background
Master degree within electronics engineering, computer science or equivalent as well as several years of work experience. From your work experience we think that you have at least following experience:
• Experience in handling and consolidating complex technology and system information involving both hardware and software, as well as being able to visualize and communicate around these topics
• Experience in setting requirements, initiating execution and follow-up on holistic and detailed level
• Experience in or of all technical aspects of product development of embedded and connected systems
Alongside this experience we think that you have an interest in:
• System and project management
• And aptitude for working with everything from technical details to broader system topics
You are excellent oral and written communicator in English, Swedish is preferred but not a must have. You need to be able to travel both internationally and nationally.
You are a natural team player who contributes to an open and positive atmosphere. You are able to informally lead specialists and managers and manage stakeholders. We think you have the ability to quickly analyze and summarize new technology, concepts, road maps and portfolio data.
