General
Volvo Construction Equipment is one of the world's leading manufacturer of machines for the construction industry. In Eskilstuna we design and develop wheel loader as well as engines for all products. There is also manufacturing of drive axles and transmissions to a number of products.
Service & Diagnostic Engineering:
The department in Eskilstuna consists of about 30 people, in various roles such as technical writers, test developers, method, techniques and diagnostic engineers. Service & Diagnostic Engineering has the main function to produce information and tools for operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of products within Volvo Construction Equipment. We are involved in the development of new products together with research & development departments in Sweden, Germany, United States, Korea, India, Japan and China. That means some travelling within and outside of Sweden.
Main Responsibilities
Together with method technician and other technical writers you produce and document repair methods, function descriptions, operator's manuals, special tools and the time guide for service and repair of construction equipment and its related components.
You lead sub-projects and participate in new product development project work.

Desirable Qualifications
• You have graduated from a technical information college.
• You're team worker but at the same time can easily plan and complete work on your own.
• You have experience and interest of producing technical information, adapted to the target group and to describe it in an understandable and educational way.
• You find it easy to express yourself in English, both spoken and written language.
• You have the experience and interest of construction equipment or other types of vehicles.
• You have experience and/or interest in managing projects.
• Experience in the repair of diesel engines, transmissions and drive shafts and repair of construction equipment and/or other similar vehicles is considered an advantage.
