We are looking for a new member to join our energetic IT support team based in our headquarters in Malmö, Sweden.
As Technical Support Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for both local and remote users across the entire company. You will support the organization's desktops and servers, network, printers and software applications.
You are service focused, self-motivated and able to work within an established framework.
You may also be involved in project work.
Responsibilities:
• First line support for IMP users either locally or remotely.
• Respond to and resolve trouble tickets, telephone calls, email messages and personal requests for technical support.
• Perform hardware and software installations, moves, additions and changes for new hires and current users.
• Maintain an updated site and systems documentation.
• Daily hardware and software maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers and servers. Including patches and updates.
• Escalate problems / issues through IT management and suppliers.
• Manage the supply and usage of all consumables and spare parts for desktops and printers.
• Carry out network troubleshooting on request.
• Provide training or guidance for users in the use of technology in use at IMP.
• Assist with all aspects of daily IT operations.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
• Travel both nationally and internationally on request.
Qualification and Skills Requirements:
• Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems and Applications (Windows XP and above).
• Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Applications (Windows 2000 and above).
• Apple Operating Systems and Application (Mac OS, Adobe CS, Font server etc.) knowledge is a strong advantage.
• Linux Operating Systems and components (Some experience).
• Google Apps: Mail, Docs and Calendar (Some experience)
• I.T. infrastructure technical knowledge.
• Experience of supporting users locally and remotely.
• Working experience of TCP/IP protocol.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, responsible, willing to take initiative as well as display creativity and problem solving capability.
• Demonstrate good time management skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in order to satisfy the needs of the organization and management.
• Highly interpersonal with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Very strong ability to work under pressure, multi-task and be flexible.
• Russian language knowledge is an advantage.
